Musée Maritime First-year students in the ‘Tourism, hospitality and promotion of cultural heritage’ programme at the University of Buea visited the Douala Maritime Museum on Friday, 25 April 2025.
They were accompanied by their lecturer, Mr. Roland Ndille, Head of the History Department at the Faculty of Arts. With a highly anticipated arrival, they were happily welcomed by the museum's staff.
The visit was an opportunity for these students to see and touch first-hand some objects that relate to Cameroon's maritime heritage.
The students were also treated to a hands-on experience of the Douala Maritime Museum's 3D attractions, notably the Storm Room and the Maritime Navigation Simulator.
