{"id":398,"date":"2023-08-29T12:13:10","date_gmt":"2023-08-29T11:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/museemaritime.cm\/?p=398"},"modified":"2023-08-29T12:15:10","modified_gmt":"2023-08-29T11:15:10","slug":"musee-maritime-de-douala-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/museemaritime.cm\/en\/musee-maritime-de-douala-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Reorganisation of exhibitions at the Douala Maritime Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 22 August 2023, staff in charge of curatorial care and documentation at the Douala Maritime Museum have been carrying out preliminary work towards giving the museum\u2019s exhibition rooms a new look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This exercise involves finding new locations for exhibitions, identifying suitable types of storage, proposing a working methodology and drawing up a list of requirements for inventory control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, a complete review of existing documentation, registers and inventory sheets is equally envisaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All these actions will ultimately improve the safety, conservation and documentation of the Douala Maritime Museum's collections.
